Visiting

If you’ve been wondering, we haven’t fallen off the face of the earth.  We’ve been having fun visiting with family.  The Ballantyne clan (my parents and one brother, with dog) made a surprise visit to Kelowna from July 20-25.  We drove to Vernon to retrieve Neil (my youngest brother) from Cadets camp for the weekend. 

They left Monday and I left for Creston the next day with Jason’s Uncle Doug and his youngest, Nathan.  It was a long, hot drive.  We got to stop in Greenwood for an hour, ate and took the boys to the park.  It was good to stretch our legs. 

Joshua and I have been having a great time, visiting with his Grandma and Grandpa Vance.  The weather was beautiful and hot last week.  We made good use of the pool.  then Sunday hit, and we’ve been chilly ever since.  Jason arrive Monday evening to everyone’s delight; ok, mine.  But Joshua was missing him too. 

Hopefully the weather will warm up before we have to go home.
