I am now at 34 weeks. Last week I either had a 24 hour flu, and the baby turned, or the baby turned and induced some nasty flu-like symptoms (such as 6 hours of random vomiting) followed by a day of ragged recovery (body chills, aching joints, lack of appetite, unquenchable thirst, and lack of energy to do anything normal). I have heard of turning babies giving mommy’s nausea, so it’s not totally out of the question. I also experienced three days of random contractions, which my doctor said was probably initiated by my dehydration. They weren’t fun, and I’m glad they’ve stopped.
The next day I went for my bi-monthly check-up. Apparently, I threw up any indication of weight gain for the previous 2 weeks. But otherwise, Jr. is fine, and now in the proper birthing position. I, on the other hand, need more fluids, more sleep and less internal kick boxing.
I also wanna give a shout-out to my little, tall brother who turned 18 on Dec 14th. Hey Graeme.
Christmas Dinner is round the corner. We are having Jason’s side over this year. We hope to see my side soon in the New Year.
Merry Christmas all!
P.S. Did I mention we have uninvited guests living with us already? Yea, MICE! I think we need an exterminator or a cat (the neighbours took all theirs) so I don’t have to check my closets, pantry and vacuum every few days for signs of invasion. Little turds just ruin my day.
