Hi, my name is Paige Vance and I am 2 weeks old.
I only eat 2-3 times in the night and let my Mum sleep about 6.5 hours total each night. I sleep all day, except for today. I was awake for a full hour in the afternoon. I lay in the yard today. The sun was warm and really bright! I heard birds and planes.
When I am awake, I’m quiet and just look and listen. My brother and sister like when my eyes are open.
Yesterday, my Mum mowed the lawn. She says I slept right through it, while being in my chair on the deck. Yup, sleep is good!
Usually I’m okay sleeping by myself in my bed. But today I wanted to be close to Mum. She put me in a cozy sling so she could help my siblings with things, and be able to cook.
I really hate when my diaper is dirty. I let everyone know when it is.
I like eating. I only get hungry every 2.5-3 hours. Mum likes that. She says I am efficient. I eat, burp, eat again, burp and then I’m done. Usually I go to sleep right after. A full tummy feels good! I don’t make my Mum do too much laundry. My diapers don’t explode onto my clothes. Sometimes I burp up a little milk. Generally, I’m pretty clean.
Gabrielle doesn’t like when I cry and she’s trying to sleep. She starts crying too. I’m definitely louder.
Joshua is a great big brother. He loves to hold me. He’s really gentle.
Dad thinks I’m pretty great. I kept he and Mum up the other night. He was super tired in the morning. He has really big hands that hold me tight. It’s cozy!
Well, I need to sleep now, G’nite.
