Hello Fans,
I know I haven’t written in a while. Sorry.
I have news about our chillins. They are growing, playing and loving like children do. But on a more specific level:
Paige is now Three months old. On Nov 21st, she weighed 12lb 10 oz, and was 22.75 inches long. She’s lost most of her birth hair, but did not go bald (except for the back of her head from laying down). Her hair is still brown and her eyes are blue (so far). She loves baths and being sung to. Joshua is her biggest fan. She smiles constantly, laughs, giggles, chats up a storm with volume, and looks at you like there is no tomorrow. When awake, she is very content, and is silent, unless talking, or crying from being dirty or hungry. For the most part, she is quiet. She is a great napper. She sleeps a 6 hour chunk at night, but she’s not up to 8 yet like the others were at her age. She’s into 6 month clothes.
Gabrielle (my cherub) is 22 months old. At her 18 month check-up she was 28lbs 4oz and 32.5 inches long. She is slowly adjusting to being the middle child. I can notice when she is feeling left out. She has become more affectionate in the last few months because of this, coming to me for hugs, a kiss or just a leg squeeze. I know she just wants to remind me that she is still there, and be assured that I still like her. It’s sad, really, to see your child go through that. Joshua’s transition was much more visible. He would avoid me in protest. Gabrielle has slimmed down since the summer, and gotten taller. Her pants have become capris. Her hair is as curly as ever, and getting longer. Whenever she’s out in public someone will comment on it. She smiles and touches her head. She’s a real little dancer, even to a ringing phone. We just got her a single bed and mattress. Now we just need railings. She roams her crib at night and I know would certainly fall out of bed.
