As of July 21st, our Baby was one month away from being a whole year old! I can’t believe it. She was my little baby up until a month ago. At ten months old, she mastered rolling over to get where she wanted to be (there was much falling off the bed). Pillows just wouldn’t contain her anymore. She had three teeth pop thru at the same time, so there were some cranky days. Two weeks before her eleven month birthday, she started the frog crawl (moving both leg at the same time while on her tummy). She she progressed to bum-skoot crawling. Now, she’s almost at the traditional crawl, with some single knee-drag crawling mixed in. Her whole attitude and expressions have changed since she became mobile. She’s so proud of herself! It’s really sweet. Both Gabrielle and Joshua encourage her to “come here” or “you almost got it”. She just grins and shows her chicklet teeth. Also at ten months she started pulling herself up to stand at things. She’s only just now figuring out how to get down from some things. The crib is padded, but that’s the only place in the house, so there are sometimes many tears.
Overall, she’s a content little girl who loves her mealtimes, naps and play times.
