August 14th has come with a small amount of fanfare. I felt a few more “Tightenings” than usual today, and my ligaments were a tad bit looser in the legs.
Here’s the skinny: I’m at 40 weeks, I’ve gained a little over 27.5 lbs, the baby’s heart rate is 140, my bp is raised a little (go figure) and we are measuring belly at 39 cm. My doctor said “see ya next week”. We’ll be there Tuesday if nothing happens before.

It’s been my track record with deliveries to not feel any labour symptoms until the day I go into the hospital, so we’ll let you know when anything significant happens.
