Hello all you sports, I mean baby fans. The event of the year is close at hand. I say year because I don’t know what month this sports player is going to make it’s appearance. We are two days from it’s expected arrival, and it seems to content to make us all bite our nails and play guessing games.
We saw our doctor on Thursday. The head is making its way towards the finish line, but this just might be at a snail’s pace. I have stopped gaining weight these past two weeks, but jr. may still be and I’m just losing fluids… Who knows? All looks good regardless.
I went to pre-register at the hospital today, and wouldn’t you know it, they don’t do that anymore. They make you sit, in whatever state of pain you are in and do a preliminary exam ai admitting before they’ll send you upsatirs to be deemed officially an in-patient. How rude. ha ha. Anyhow, I did get to take a tour of the Mat. ward with cool-headed eyes. They have a newly renpvated Nursery now. Really nice and bright. Unfortunately, the rest of the place is a construction zone. It’s a bit of a mouse maze up there. But, as long as I can have a bed, I’ll be happy. Because this winter has been so bad for the flu and colds, they are only allowing immediate family to visit mom and baby. Even siblings can’t come in the ward. I have to go out into the hall to see Joshua, and he won’t see jr. until we come home. Sad:(
Apparentely it’s been really busy (baby wise) up there this month. Four of the five case rooms were in use while I was there. And, I know four girls who are due near me, so the chances of seeing one of them seem pretty high.
On another note, my Mom is here helping out. Yeah! We (she) have been cooking and cleaning and watching Joshua. We (we) went through my stored baby clothes last night. Sooo cute! They got washed today.
Joshua can sense the tension in the house. He’s been really cuddly with me the last few days.
Jason has been working his brain off trying to finish all the projects he can. Thanks honey.
